Śniadanie biznesowe "Can Data, AI, and Automation Boost Customer Service KPIs?"
Managing Disruption
As the world is constantly changing, telecoms can no longer rely only on manual processes – this was the conclusion of the panelists at the webinar: Building a Foundation for Continually Telco Transformation. This starts with automation, integration of existing systems, and finding a new approach to BSS/OSS.
It was the first in a series of Enxoo Industry Cloud Experience webinars that gather inspiring telecommunications managers and raise important topics for companies that want to transform quickly and effectively.
Telco industry experts
The meeting, hosted by Enxoo, brought together industry experts Mattias Fridström, Chief Evangelist from Arelion (formerly Telia Carrier), and Artur Ostrowski, Chief Commercial Officer at Enxoo.
The discussion moderated by Matthew Whalley, Director of Ilex Content Strategies, answered one of the most fundamental questions: how organisations should adopt new technologies, structures, and business models to optimise their operations and create the future of their businesses.
Telco Transformation
In a rapidly changing world, telcos need to build a foundation for continual transformation. The challenge is to not just succeed with a single digital transformation project but to create telco businesses that can rapidly adapt, pivot, and grow in the long term. That starts with automation, integration of existing systems, and finding a new approach to BSS/OSS.
“COVID-19 really got us thinking about what can we automate more or how we can make this transformation journey much faster. Most things are new, but you don’t want to lose customers because you’re not prepared for them”, said Mattias Fridström.
“Right now with more remote work we need to have more reliable data in the systems. There is no foundation for continual transformation as long as your BSS and OSS systems are detached”, said Artur Ostrowski. “It’s really fundamental. If you don’t do it right, the rest doesn’t make sense, “emphasized Mattias Fridström.
“Continual transformation is more like understanding your vision, what you are trying to achieve in this market conditions. Yet the tactics of how you achieve it often will be chopped into these single individual projects”, said A.Ostrowski. The other that I would like to mention is also the culture and we seats offen when we compare projects that run well and projects that suffer very often. It is about the culture, added A.Ostrowski.
