Arelion owns and operates one of the world’s most extensive fiber backbones, and is the connectivity partner of choice to the world’s largest content providers, operators and enterprises.

The Challenge

Salesforce has been Arelion’s platform of choice since 2006, mainly utilized in the areas of opportunity management, order processing and customer service. 

Arelion used a third-party, non-native Salesforce CPQ solution which greatly impacted operational visibility.

The CPQ system involved of a complex data entry procedure, resulting in a poor user experience, frequent technical issues, and an inefficient lead-to-order process. 

It was important for Arelion to reduce total Cost of Ownership (TOC) of the current CPQ solution.

Arelion chose Enxoo to improve and optimize its business processes. 

For the implementation it was necessary to replace the existing CPQ tool with the Salesforce Sales Cloud platform enhanced with the Enxoo CPQ solution.

The completely customised solution was delivered with new and improved capabilities, including new procurement functionalities and a document creator for quotes and orders.

The Results

The Enxoo CPQ enabled Arelion to increase sales efficiency by 30%. The easy to operate and improved system provides an enhanced user experience.

The solution resulted in a significant reduction of system maintenance overheads, and therefore total TOC.

Enxoo delivered the project within eight months, meeting the tight project deadline.
